Large sign which measures 40cm x 60cm. Sign is in overall good condition with some very minor damage to front and edges (see images). Sign translates to
"STATE RAILWAYS GOODS TRAFFIC, RECEPTION AND ISSUE OF GOODS"
Colours are still very vibrant "orange and blue".

This is a pressed wood, so-called "Coconut", covered aluminium flask. The canteen is complete with bakelite cup and webbing straps.

The canteen is maker marked and dated with 'H.R.E.43' indicating production by the company of 'Heinrich Ritter' from Esslingen in 1943.
