Tag der Polizei 1942 WHW (Winterhilfswerke) pin ( W12 )

In December 1934, the NSDAP (National Socialist Party) established the first “Tag der Deutsche Polizei” which was held until the year 1944.

During two days, all kinds of things were sold, the proceeds of which were used to raise funds for the WHW (Winter Heilfswerk). During the war, the WHW also took care of collecting clothing and types of comfort to send to the soldiers at the front. WHW worked under the control of the “NS-Volkswohlfahrt” (National Socialist Organization for Welfare).
