WH (Heer) 'Demjansk' Campaign Shield

WH (Heer) / Waffen-SS 'Demjansk' Shield (Demjansk-Schild). The 'Demjansk' Campaign shield was instituted by Adolf Hitler on 25 April 1943 and was intended for award to personnel who participated in the defence and the eventual break out of the besieged Russian village of Demjansk (8 February 1941 till 21 April 1942).

Wehrmacht (Heer) 'Krim' Campaign Shield

This is a very nice WH (Heer/Waffen-SS) 'Krim' Campaign Shield, mounted on a piece of field-grey wool.
The 'Krimschild' was awarded to German soldiers under the command of 'Generalfeldmarschall Erich von Manstein' who fought and served in the Crimea area in between September 1941 and July 1942.

Wehrmacht Feldgendarmerie gorget ‘Ringkragen’by Maedicke

A stunning original field police gorget or Feldgendarmerie Rinkragen.

The luminous paint still lights up in the dark. The Gorget is a nice mid to late war example with a canvas like backing and is nicely marked with an M in a diamond shaped logo. The consensus among collectors is that this M logo indicates production by the company J.C. Maedicke, Berlin.
