Luftwaffe Ground Assault Badge

A Luftwaffe Ground Assault Badge, die-stamped two-part construction with the eagle in tombak and the wreath in zink. The reverse of the badge has a vertical pin with a crimped barrel hinge, and a round wire catch soldered on a rectangular base, unmarked by an unknown maker.

The award has no damage or repairs with a nice patina in good condition.  read more

The early non-magnetic cross has a three piece construction with a brass core. The cross is not visible maker marked but can be attributed to production by the company of 'Wächtler & Lange' from Mittweida.
