These badges were worn by the various 'Jäger' (or rifle) regiments: some sort of mid-/ie. late-war infantry units. The badge is nicely machine-embroidered on a dark-green woolen background. The badge is showing some minor moth damage.

A very nice M35 steel helmet that started it’s life as a double decal example in glossy blue paint. Got camouflaged during the war, covering both decals, but there shadow is still visible under the paint.
