MG42 Machine Gun – dfb 1943 – EU Deko
Category:
€ 2.850,00
A very interesting MG42 machine gun, manufactured in 1943 by Gustloff-Werke, Suhl, and marked dfb 1943.
This example remains in good, complete-looking condition, showing extensive surface wear and pitting throughout the receiver and barrel jacket. The unusual appearance suggests that it may have been an early water recovery, although this cannot be confirmed.
The MG42 is still fitted with its scarce L-shaped rear sight (L-Kimme), an interesting and desirable feature. Other details include the wooden buttstock, original MG42 bipod and complete-looking sight assembly.
Some post-war Yugoslavian MG53 components have been fitted, including the pistol grip and barrel-changing flap.
The top feed cover can still be opened, revealing the feeding mechanism, as shown in the photographs.
An attractive and historically interesting MG42 with plenty of character, particularly because of its 1943 production date, scarce L-Kimme and heavily aged appearance.
EU deactivated, accompanied by its French EU deactivation certificate.
Due to recent problems with shipping Dekos within the EU, shipping is only possible in the Netherlands or collection or delivery at one of the fairs in Houten!!
