WH/SS lowboots with Fallschirmjäger 1st Pattern Rubber Soles

A very interesting and unusual pair of German lowboots (Schnürschuhe), with a field upgrade of rubber soles as used on the rare Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger 1st Pattern Jump Boots.
The shoes are manufactured from sturdy brown leather with darker reinforced front sections and metal eyelets. The original leather soles appear to have been resoled during the war with the characteristic early Fallschirmjäger type rubber soles, complete with metal toe and heel protectors, which makes this a very unique historical piece.
Both shoes show stamped markings, including the numbers 27 and 423. They remain in good used condition, showing normal age and wear. The laces are missing.
