Nicely marked with the Luftwaffe eagle sign and “FLUV” (Flieger Unterkunft Verwaltung) which indicates this is a specific Luftwaffe issue lantern. The lantern is also marked M.W.N.41 which indicates production in 1941

This is the standard-type WH (Heer) M43 cap-eagle/cocarde (trapezoid), woven according to the 'BeVo'-weave technique in linnen on a field-grey cotton background. These insignia were worn on the various M43 caps throughout the war. Nice original example in unissued condition,
