Very nice US WW1 BAR belt, dated “1918”
Used aswell in the early second world war.
The belt would holt 8 box magazines with 20 round for the “Browning Automatic Rifle” in 30.06 Cal.
and two M1911 Pistol magazines with each 7 rounds of 45 Cal. ACP ammo. The metal box on the belt was used to hold the rilfle stock during firing...  read more
