A stunning original field police gorget or Feldgendarmerie Rinkragen.

The luminous paint still lights up in the dark. The Gorget is a nice mid to late war example with a canvas like backing and is nicely marked with an M in a diamond shaped logo. The consensus among collectors is that this M logo indicates production by the company J.C. Maedicke, Berlin.

This is a nice and scarce original hand-embroidered Polizei Officer's type arm-eagle.

These arm-eagles were worn on the various police Officer's type jackets and tunics. The eagle is nicely hand-embroidered in bullion silver threads on a fieldgrey woolen background.

A very well-preserved Gendarmerie (Rural Police) M43 field cap, constructed of classic Police green wool
The outer edge of the crown is fully trimmed with a length of bright orange piping
The interior is fully lined and stamped onto the crown is a black ink size mark of “57”. Otherwise unmarked.
