'Der Stahlhelm' - Bund der Frontsoldaten (or: Sta)' having the (lowest existing) rank of: 'Wehrmann'

the messkit is made in a early type with early aluminium attachment lugs for the carrying handle which is marked but hard to read

Top part is marked : SLL40 which indicates production by Sieper & Sohne, Lüdenscheid in 1940
