Wehrmacht (Heer) Infantry Officer’s "Waffenrock" – Hauptmann

Waffenrock for officers with white branch color for an officer of the German infantry. All insignia, braid, buttons, and fittings are original to the tunic and period-correct, with no post-war alterations, replacements, or restorations. Everything remains originally sewn and professionally applied, exactly as issued and worn.

The tunic still holds it’s ‘Adjutantenschnur’ or officer aiguillette.
The shoulder boards indiacte this was an officer with the rank of Hauptmann (Captain) within the Infanterie-Regiment 2.

The interior features a high-quality lining and retains the original private tailor’s label from Schneiderei Eder, Nürnberg, confirming private purchase and officer-grade manufacture.
“The tunic retains its original private name label, however the handwritten name is no longer fully legible.” ( dated 18-12-35 )
