Wehrmacht (Heer) Field Cap (Schiffchen), Field-Upgraded to Officer
Wehrmacht Heer field cap (Schiffchen), manufactured in feldgrau wool and originally issued for enlisted men / NCOs. The cap was field-upgraded to officer status by the later addition of silver aluminum officer’s piping along the top seams.
he cap retains its original BeVo-woven Heer eagle and national cockade to the front. Interior features correct period lining with ventilation eyelet. Overall a well-worn, honest example with clear signs of service use.
