Wehrmacht Stahlhelm Manöverband (Helmband 32) – Red/Yellow
Category:
€ 75,00
Nice example of a Wehrmacht reversible helmet manoeuvre band, also known as the Helmband 32, introduced during the Reichswehr period and subsequently used by the Wehrmacht.
The band is made of sturdy woven fabric, red on one side and yellow on the reverse. During military exercises, the red side was used to identify opposing forces, while the yellow side indicated simulated casualties.
Complete with its metal adjustment buckle and all three attachment straps with metal hooks, used to secure the band around a steel helmet.
The band remains in very good condition with strong colours, showing some age-related wear and period-style stitching to the attachment straps.
An interesting and increasingly difficult-to-find piece of Wehrmacht training equipment.
