1944 Dienst-Brille with Original Case and Named Prescription Card

A nice complete German Dienst-Brille, consisting of round metal-framed spectacles with flexible wire temples, the original grey-green metal case marked “Dienst-Brille”, and the accompanying prescription card.
The prescription card is named to Gerhard Thiem, identified as a Dienstpflichtiger, and dated 3 March 1944. It also records the original lens prescriptions for both eyes.
The metal case retains its blue fabric lining and shows normal signs of age and use. The spectacles are in good used condition, with both lenses intact.
An attractive and complete wartime set, particularly interesting due to the original dated and named prescription card.
