Waffen-SS Verpflegungskiste – Vehicle Marked
Category:
€ 250,00
Interesting wooden Waffen-SS supply box, marked with white SS runes and the inscription “Verpflegung II” on the lid.
The box is entirely lined with zinc on the inside, including the lid, most likely intended for the storage and transportation of food supplies.
Particularly interesting is the additional marking “SS-113077”, which appears to represent a Waffen-SS vehicle registration number. This suggests that the box may have belonged to the equipment of a specific supply vehicle.
The box retains much of its period tan (sand-coloured) paint and shows typical signs of age and use, including some old woodworm holes. The metal fittings and closure are still present.
An unusual and interesting piece of Waffen-SS supply equipment, rarely encountered in this configuration.
Dimensions: 46.5 × 31 × 23 cm.
