Luftwaffe detachable overcoat hood, manufactured from the typical blue-grey wool fabric. Complete with its original grey-blue cotton reinforcement along the lower edge, three buttonholes and both drawstrings.
The hood remains in good used condition, showing normal age and wear. There is some damage to the interior centre seam, including several small holes, as clearly shown in the photographs.
An interesting and increasingly difficult-to-find piece of Luftwaffe uniform equipment.
