A beautiful example of a EXTREMELY rare unissued Luftwaffe M44 tunic !
The tunic is made from the same 'brownish' field grey wool as Luftwaffe Assault gun wraps and the 4 pocket Luftwaffe M43 tunics used by Hermann Göring division personnel.
The lining material is made from a beautiful blue HBT rayon material and remains several original markings, including the RBNR size stamp and a depot stamp '589'.
A very rare late war luftwaffe eagle is originally sewn to the jacket, and all the original buttons remain original to the jacket.
The tunic comes with a matching pair of very late war shoulder straps for pilot/paratrooper personal, which are also in unissued condition.
This is one of the rarest Luftwaffe uniforms to come across, since this is only the 2nd example we and several other collectors know that exist worldwide!
Overall, an extremely rare Late war Luftwaffe M44 tunic in unissued condition, and a piece that 99% of uniform collectors will not have!
