Rare Großdeutschland Infantry EM Shoulder Boards – Matching Pair

A very rare and beautiful matching pair of original Wehrmacht Großdeutschland Infantry EM shoulder boards, featuring finely embroidered white "GD" monograms on dark green wool.
Both shoulder boards retain their distinctive white Infantry Waffenfarbe piping and beautifully executed white embroidered GD cyphers. The embroidery is exceptionally well preserved, with both monograms displaying excellent detail.
The shoulder boards are of the early dark green pattern, featuring field-grey wool folding tongues and reinforced buttonholes. The reverse construction is particularly attractive, showing the typical period materials and stitching.
Both shoulder boards remain in excellent, virtually unworn condition, with only minimal signs of age and storage. The dark green wool retains its beautiful deep colour, while the white piping and embroidered monograms remain exceptionally fresh.
Length when folded: approximately 11.5–12 cm.
