A very nice matching pair of Wehrmacht leather Zeltbahn straps, used for securing the folded Zeltbahn (shelter quarter) to the soldier's field equipment.
Both straps measure approximately 54 cm in length and feature blackened leather, metal roller buckles and reinforced leather sections with characteristic light-coloured stitching.
The straps remain in good used condition, showing normal age-related wear and attractive patina. Both retain their original construction details and metal fittings.
Both straps bears have the same manufacturer markings on the leather "Carl Hepting & Co. – Stuttgart-Feuerbach – 1941"
A very attractive matching pair, ideal for completing a Wehrmacht field equipment display.
Condition: Good used condition, with normal signs of age and wear.
