A beautiful early pair of Luftwaffe leather Kradmelder gloves, dating from 1939 and preserved in near mint condition.
The gloves are made of fine black leather and feature the characteristic three-finger construction, long protective gauntlets and adjustable leather straps with metal buckles.
Both gloves remain in excellent condition, showing only minimal traces of age and wear. The leather is beautifully preserved, and all straps, buckles and fastenings are present.
Of particular interest are the period markings, including the L.B.A. 39 Luftwaffe acceptance stamp and the unit marking Fl. Ausb. Regt. 41, identifying Flieger-Ausbildungs-Regiment 41 (Flying Training Regiment 41).
The gloves also retain the manufacturer's marking R. Ehekircher, size 8½.
A very attractive and exceptionally well-preserved early pair of Luftwaffe Kradmelder gloves, further enhanced by the desirable dated acceptance and unit markings.
