A very nice German Wehrmacht protective pouch for the Kartenwinkelmesser 27, a military map-reading instrument used for measuring angles, determining directions and assisting with navigation.
The pouch is manufactured from sturdy field-grey/green canvas and features a reinforced folding flap secured by two black press studs, both of which are present and fully intact.
The interior retains its additional small canvas pocket, which bears period-style handwritten markings, possibly indicating the original owner's name or military details.
The pouch remains in very good condition, showing only minor signs of age and use. The canvas retains its attractive colour, while the stitching is well preserved throughout. No major damage or repairs are visible.
A very nice and well-preserved example of this specialised Wehrmacht map-reading equipment.
