A very nice pair of black leather dress ankle boots (Schnürstiefeletten), of the type suitable for wear
with German military dress and walking-out uniforms (Ausgehuniform).
These privately purchased style boots feature fine-quality black leather uppers, elegant reinforced cap toes, high lace-up shafts with metal eyelets and hooks, and traditional leather soles with stacked heels.
The interiors are finished with light-coloured fabric lining and retain partially visible ink markings. Both boots retain their black laces and fabric pull tabs.
The boots remain in very good, lightly worn condition, showing only normal signs of age and use. The leather is still attractive, with a beautiful natural patina, while the soles show relatively little wear.
The elegant construction is consistent with the type of privately purchased footwear that could have been worn by German officers or NCOs with their dress or walking-out uniforms.
External sole length: 28.5 cm, approximately EU size 41–42.
