Fallschirmjäger jump container (Abwurfbehälter) for radio equipment
Category:
€ 3.250,00
A nice original German paratrooper Jump container for radio equipment.
The container is original but has been restored in a professional way.
This specific container is for dropping radio equipment during airborne operations, you can see that they are a little shorter then the weapons or ammunition containers, and these are quite rare nowadays.
The container has its original pulling bar and wheel frames , and the tires look to be the correct type too, just missing the white paint like seen often.
The container has been repainted in a standard issue Dunkelgelb or Sandgelb colour, for tropical environments or as standard from 1943-1945.
The leather carrying straps have been profesionally restored and all the original hooks are still present as far as i can see.
A blue 'Funker' lightning bolt has been repainted on the outside to make it easily recognizable as a container which contains radio equipment, as can often be seen on original photographs.
Containers in original paint are insanely rare and are almost never in good condition, so this is your chance to add a very nice piece of Fallschirmjäger equipment to your collection or reenactment group!
Due to the volume and weight, only pickup or delivery at one of the fairs in Houten is possible!!
