A very nice period metal cap eagle
The reverse is clearly marked with the RZM logo and maker code M1/63, identifying Steinhauer & Lück as the manufacturer.
This style of cap eagle was produced for use by various National Socialist and state-related organisations and services, with comparable patterns encountered in organisations such as the Deutsche Reichsbahn, Deutsche Reichspost and Forestry services, among others.
The eagle measures approximately 55 mm from wingtip to wingtip and is manufactured from lightweight metal with a silver-coloured finish. The reverse retains both original wire attachment prongs.
A very attractive and well-detailed example in excellent overall condition, with a clearly visible RZM maker marking.
