Very nice German Forestry (Forst) uniform button, manufactured by the well-known firm F. W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid.
The button measures approximately 22 mm in diameter and features the characteristic dark green finish with a finely ribbed surface and raised outer border. The reverse is marked with the Assmann maker logo and “HOCHFEINE QUALITÄT” and retains its original metal attachment loop.
Preserved in exceptionally fine, near mint condition, with virtually all of the original dark finish remaining.
