Waffen-SS Steel Belt Buckle – RZM 155/43 SS

Very nice Waffen-SS EM/NCO steel belt buckle, manufactured by F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid and correctly marked RZM 155/43 SS on the reverse.
A particularly attractive example retaining a considerable amount of its original silver-grey factory finish. The buckle shows only moderate wear, with a nicely preserved and sharply defined design. The reverse is equally clean and retains its complete and fully functional catch, roller and prong assembly.
These steel Assmann buckles are becoming increasingly difficult to find in such well-preserved condition, especially examples retaining this amount of their original finish.
A very desirable and honest example with an excellent overall appearance.
