Early SA EM/NCO Brass Belt Buckle – 1st Pattern
Category:
A very attractive early SA EM/NCO belt buckle of the so-called 1st pattern. Constructed from brass and featuring the characteristic large circular medallion with SA eagle above a swastika within an oakleaf wreath, surrounded by finely detailed oakleaf decoration and a ribbed background.
The reverse retains its complete belt attachment assembly with roller and double prongs. This early example is unmarked, which is not unusual for buckles of this pre-RZM period.
The buckle shows an appealing, naturally aged brass patina with moderate traces of wear and use, while retaining excellent overall detail. It has clearly never been polished or cleaned and presents exactly as one would hope to find an early SA buckle.
A scarce and visually impressive early SA belt buckle in very nice, untouched condition.
