Very attractive and exceptionally well-preserved lot of eight Wehrmacht Heer spoons, all manufactured by C&C.W. and dated 1942.
Each spoon is clearly stamped on the reverse with the C&C.W.42 maker/date marking as well as the Wehrmacht Heer eagle. The spoons remain in virtually unissued condition, retaining their bright original finish with only minimal traces of age and storage.
What makes this group particularly desirable is the fact that the spoons were found together with their original period packing paper and cardboard storage box. Several were still individually wrapped when found. Such untouched depot-style groups of identical Wehrmacht cutlery are considerably harder to encounter than individual examples.
A particularly appealing and well-preserved matching 1942 group, ideal for an advanced Wehrmacht equipment or field-gear collection.
Set consists of 8 spoons together with the period packing paper and original cardboard storage box.
