Rare large metal first aid box as used by the NSFK (Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps), the German aviation organisation closely associated with the Luftwaffe and responsible for pre-military aviation and flight training.
The lid retains its attractive period-applied markings, including “Verbandkasten”, the large red and white medical emblem and “N.S. Fliegerkorps”. The paint shows honest age and wear, giving the box a very characteristic appearance.
The interior retains the original metal compartment dividers as well as the large contents label for the “Großer Einheits-Verbandkasten” No. 4333, manufactured by Paul Hartmann A.-G., Heidenheim (Brenz).
The box is currently empty and shows normal traces of age and use, including some scratches, paint loss and areas of surface corrosion. Both front closures and the side carrying handle remain present.

A very difficult to find and visually impressive piece of NSFK equipment with a strong connection to German aviation and the Luftwaffe.
