Constructed from black wool with white Waffenfarbe piping around the edges, denoting Infantry.
Both boards retain their original black cloth attachment tongues and neatly finished buttonholes.
The pair shows only light age and wear, with the white piping having developed an attractive slightly cream-toned patina.
Both boards are nicely matching in construction, materials and overall appearance.
