Matching Clemen & Jung K98 Bayonet – 1938

Very nice early K98 bayonet manufactured by Clemen & Jung, Solingen and dated 1938.
The bayonet and scabbard are fully matching, both carrying serial number 7574 h. The blade is particularly attractive and retains a very high amount of its original dark blued finish, showing only minor traces of use. Complete with its original dark Bakelite grip plates and visible early-pattern acceptance stamps markings.
The matching steel scabbard remains in good untouched condition, showing honest age and service wear with some finish loss and patina.
A very attractive early matching K98 bayonet by Clemen & Jung, especially desirable due to the excellent condition of the blade and its original matching scabbard.
