Very nice and complete Wehrmacht gas mask set in good used condition.
The gas mask canister is dated 1938 and retains almost all of its original dark green factory finish. It comes with its original carrying straps and contains an M30 gas mask with FE 41 marked filter.
No size markings on the gasmask
The gasmask is in a very good condition
The inside of the canister lid retains the compartment for the spare lenses (Klarscheiben).
Also included with the set are the cloth pouch with spring and the Hautentgiftungsmittel (skin decontamination agent), both desirable accessories which are often no longer present with surviving gas mask sets.
The top of the canister bears the period-applied name “Weinberg”, giving the set a nice personal touch.
A very attractive and remarkably complete gas mask set with a great untouched appearance.
