Rare original French Camouflaged Trench Periscope with Leather Carrying Case

A nice original French Model 1930 6x trench periscope, manufactured by HUET Paris, complete with its original brown leather carrying case.
Designed for observation from trenches, bunkers and other covered positions, these periscopes were introduced by the French Army in 1930 and remained in service during the Second World War. Following the 1940 campaign, many were captured and subsequently reused by the Wehrmacht.
This example retains its attractive original camouflage finish and is marked with a 6x magnification and Micro-Grades scale. The periscope is serial numbered M.G. No. 10173 and features the original wooden grip. It extends smoothly, functions as intended, and the optics provide a good, clear image.
The original brown leather carrying case is included and still bears its original inventory label identifying it as a "Périscope à main – 1930", adding to its historical appeal.
A scarce and desirable original optical instrument
