Rare Original Waffen-SS Reversible Planetree Camouflage Zeltbahn 31

A rare original Waffen-SS Zeltbahn 31 in the highly desirable reversible Planetree (Platanenmuster) camouflage pattern. One side displays the attractive green spring/summer colours, while the reverse features the brown autumn camouflage. Both sides retain exceptionally vibrant and well-preserved colours.
The Zeltbahn is complete with all of its original press studs, reinforced corners, metal eyelets, tie cords and the original hood opening with button closure. All press studs are present and fully intact.
The camouflage remains exceptionally crisp, making this an outstanding display example. The Zeltbahn shows only honest field use and has a few small repairs, which are entirely consistent with wartime service and do not detract from its overall appearance. It remains in very good condition throughout.
Original Waffen-SS Planetree camouflage Zeltbahnen are among the rarest and most desirable German camouflage items of the Second World War and are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain, especially in such complete condition with strong, vivid colours.
A superb and highly collectible example that would be a centrepiece in any advanced Waffen-SS camouflage collection.
