Wehrmacht M42 Greatcoat (Feldmantel M42), manufactured in the late-war period.
This classic double-breasted overcoat is constructed from field-grey wool and features the simplified M42 pattern with a matching field-grey collar, shoulder board loops, waist belt, and rear walking pleat.
The interior retains its original tan cotton lining with all original construction details intact. Faint original factory and depot ink stamps are still present inside the lining, although they have faded over time and are no longer legible.
The coat is complete and remains in good, honest condition. It shows normal service wear consistent with age and use. There are a few small moth nips and one old, professionally executed repair to the interior lining, all shown in the photographs. Despite these minor imperfections, the coat displays very well and remains an attractive example of a late-war Wehrmacht overcoat.
