A nice brass Royal Navy Boatswain's Whistle (Boatswain's Call) complete with its original carrying chain. These whistles were traditionally used by boatswains and petty officers aboard naval vessels to relay commands and signals.
The whistle retains an attractive aged patina and shows normal signs of period use and storage. The original chain is present and remains attached to the whistle.
An interesting and increasingly hard-to-find naval accessory.
