“HJ/DJ Winter Service Cap constructed from black wool, featuring the characteristic front strap with metal buckle and a short visor.
The cap retains its original enamel HJ diamond insignia mounted to the front.
The interior is fully lined with a quilted black lining for additional warmth during winter use.
This style of cap was worn by members of the Hitlerjugend and especially the Deutsches Jungvolk during colder weather and field activities in the pre-war and early war years. The cap shows honest period wear and age, while still remaining in very good overall condition.
