“Original U.S. Army WWII M1938 Mackinaw ‘Jeep’ Coat. This classic double-breasted cold weather coat features the characteristic large shawl collar, adjustable waist belt, heavy wool blanket lining and adjustable cuffs. The M1938 Mackinaw coat was widely used by jeep drivers, mechanized troops, officers and vehicle crews during World War II, especially in harsh winter conditions. Its shorter 3/4 length made it practical for use inside vehicles while still offering excellent warmth and protection against wind and cold.
This example is in very good overall condition with its original belt still present. Unfortunately no labels or markings could be found.”
