U.S. WWII Arctic Overshoes (“Shoe Pacs”) – 2 Buckle Type
Category:
€ 125,00
A very nice and original pair of U.S. Army WWII arctic overshoes, commonly referred to as “shoe pacs.” These cold-weather boots were designed to be worn over standard service shoes, providing insulation and protection in extreme winter conditions.
This example features the desirable two-buckle upper with canvas snow cuff, allowing the wearer to secure the boot tightly around the lower leg to keep out snow and moisture. Constructed from light-colored roughout leather with a rubberized sole for added grip on icy terrain.
Both boots are clearly marked:
“A.R. Hyde & Sons Co. – QM-11870 – Small”, a well-known WWII U.S. military contractor.
Condition is very good overall, showing only light wear and some minor age-related staining, but remaining supple and fully functional. A well-preserved and attractive pair.
