An original Stahlhelmbund ‘Front Heil’ Belt Buckle two-piece construction in brass.
The buckle was instituted by Franz Seldte in November 1918 as a national veterans’ organisation.
The obverse of the buckle depicts a Stahlhelm helmet facing to the left witin two rope circlets with incription above ‘Front Heil’ and a oak leaves below.
The reverse is has no visible markings and has no damage or repairs
in good condition.
