These honorary plaques were presented to Luftwaffe members for outstanding accomplishments during the Russia campaign.
The plaque features the Luftwaffe eagle centered at the top and the facsimile signature of Albert Kesselring engraved at the bottom. ‘H/SCH/T' appears centered at the bottom. At the bottom left on the reverse is the emblem of Lauchhammer, a German town.
