Complete set of Protection Goggles in Pouch

Set of 4 Wehrmacht Dust & SunProtection Goggles in Pouch (Augenschützer 42 mit Trageumschlag). The German army issued a wide variety of protective, special duty and general purpose glasses and goggles for assorted personnel including sun glasses for use in the desert or snowy climates. One example of the goggles utilized were the 'Augenschützer 42', which were developed in 1942 as inexpensive, easily manufactured, eye protectors. The Augenschützer 42 were produced in two models with colored lenses for sun protection and clear lenses for dust protection. These disposable goggles proved quite popular and saw wide spread use in all theaters of action. This is a complete set consisting of 2 dust protection goggles and 2 sun protection goggles. The goggles are stored in their original cloth pouch as found, the pouch is nicely 'WaA' marked and maker marked with 'gng' indicating production by the company 'Auer-Gesellschaft AG' from Guben.
