Luftwaffe Summer Flight Suit (1942)

One piece summer weight Luftwaffe 'Sommerfliegerkombi' constructed in the classic “Salt and Pepper” heavy cotton material.
This is the second pattern and has the later ring-pull emergency release cord that was introduced so that the wearer could remove the suit quickly without the need to undo any zips.
All zippers appear to be functional
maker marked and dated 1942
