Luftwaffe DAK Tropical Pith Helmet

Early 1st pattern tan coloured Luftwaffe DAK Tropical Pith Helmet (Tropenhelm).
The tropical uniforms were only intended for wear in North Africa but that was later expanded to include personnel serving in southern areas of continental Europe during the summer months. This is a tan coloured Luftwaffe version of the tropical pith helmet. The light weight pith helmet is complete with an original national flag and Luftwaffe eagle.
The helmet is not visible maker marked, the helmet is size '56' marked.
The helmet is in overall very good condition!
