A very nice and rare Iron Cross EK1 L/50 by Gebrüder Godet & Co Berlin.
multi-piece construction with nice blackened magnetic iron core and ribbed border, with the raised swastika in the centre with institution date 1939 below. The reverse is plain with a vertical hinge, with a typical and early sword-shaped pin, with Godet hallmark L/50 below the needle hook.
