HJ dagger by maker Arthur Schuttelhofer & Co. This is an early one, with the attractive double horse bust logo to the left of the words, “Arthur Schüttelhöfer & Co.” over “Wald-solingen”, which are situated lengthwise along the blade. Perpendicular to the maker’s mark are the words, “Ges. Geschutzt”.

The motto is also present but hard to see .
