Postcard "Line ship Silesia" (Linienschiff Schlesien)

SMS Schlesien was a German Deutschland-class pre-dreadnought battleship that served from 1908 to 1945. It participated in the Battle of Jutland and survived, after which it was primarily used as a training ship. During World War II, it served as an anti-aircraft ship and was ultimately struck by a naval mine on May 3, 1945, after which it was sunk and scrapped.
