Original 1945 German 10 Reichspfennig Coin – Muldenhütten Mint (“E”)
Late-war issue of the Third Reich, struck in zinc during the final months of World War II. Displays the national eagle with swastika and the date “1945” on one side, and the denomination “10 Reichspfennig” on the reverse. The mint mark “E” identifies production at the Muldenhütten mint near Freiberg, Saxony.
Due to wartime shortages, these coins were produced in zinc and often show surface oxidation. Many 1945 E examples were never officially released before Germany’s surrender, making them a notable late-war issue.
