Luftwaffe Winter Flight Pants - 'Kanalhose'
Heavy, blue-grey cotton outer shell with full sheepskin lining for extreme cold-weather use. Equipped with large cargo pockets featuring internal leather straps and D-rings, long side zippers for easy access over flight boots, and adjustable shoulder straps and waist buckles. All metal zippers are period Zipp type with leather pull tabs.
One zipper is defective, otherwise in very good condition with all buttons and lining intact.
These trousers were part of the Luftwaffe winter flying suit, worn by bomber and reconnaissance crews operating over the Channel and Eastern Front. Excellent original example with beautiful patina and complete fur interior.
The trousers are marked inside but it remains difficult to determin what it says
